StoreMend Privacy Policy

StoreMend is a maintenance-request app operated by RSH Enterprises, Inc. ("we", "us"). It is used by our staff and by the businesses that use StoreMend to report and track maintenance issues at their locations. This policy explains what information StoreMend collects, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, mobile phone number (if you turn on text alerts), your role, and the locations you are assigned to.
- Maintenance requests: the descriptions, categories, urgency, photos, videos and notes you submit, and the history of each request (who changed what, and when).
- Device information: a push-notification token so we can send alerts to your device, plus basic technical data (app version, device type, error logs) used to keep the app working.
- Camera and photo library: StoreMend accesses your camera or photos only when you choose to attach a photo or video to a request.
StoreMend does not collect your location, contacts, or browsing activity, and it does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
How we use information
- To operate StoreMend: creating, routing, tracking and closing maintenance requests.
- To send you notifications you have chosen to receive: push notifications, emails, and text messages about maintenance requests.
- To maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve the app.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Text messages (SMS)
- Text alerts are optional. You opt in by adding your mobile number and turning on text alerts in StoreMend's notification settings.
- Messages are operational alerts about maintenance requests (for example, a new emergency request). Message frequency varies with request activity.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. You can also turn text alerts off in the app.
- Mobile numbers and text-messaging opt-in data are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Who can see your information
- Within your organization: administrators of your organization can see the requests and accounts in it. Store managers can see requests for the locations they are assigned to. Each organization's data is kept separate from every other organization's.
- Service providers that run StoreMend on our behalf, only as needed to provide the service: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Expo (app delivery and push notifications), Twilio (text messages), Resend (email), and Cloudflare (website hosting).
- Legal reasons: if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users or others.
Retention and deletion
We keep account and request information while your organization uses StoreMend, so that maintenance history stays available. When an account is deactivated, the person can no longer sign in; their past requests remain part of the organization's records. You may ask us to delete your account information by emailing us at the address below, and we will respond within 30 days. Some information may be kept where required by law.
Security
Information is encrypted in transit and access is restricted by account role. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.
Children
StoreMend is a workplace tool and is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify users in the app.
